Global Impact

Rare’s locally-run conservation programs in over 40 countries are inspiring millions of people on five continents to care for their local environment. This year Rare will train nearly 40 local conservationists to run Rare Pride marketing campaigns that will reach approximately  3.2 million people around the globe. Trained in university-based programs in China, Indonesia, Latin America, and the United States, the conservationists return to their home countries to work with their local communities. Some recent results include reducing poaching in Cameroon, protecting endangered species in the Seychelle islands, and increasing sustainable agriculture in Paraguay. >>read more
